When ever someone is about to go out and purchase a new laptop or computer they need to decide what type they would like. PC's used to be more popular about ten years ago but now the Mac is starting to take over the computer world. I used to have PC's my whole life up until about a year and a half ago. I can remember going through about three different PC's because they would always get viruses and crash. With a Mac it is almost impossible to get a virus. The Mac's operating system is just much more stronger then a PC's.
Mac's might cost a little more money then a PC but it is worth it in the long run. You won't have to worry about paying money to get your Mac fixed because Mac's usually don't have any problems. If you buy a PC you usually have to buy some type of anti-virus programs or get it fixed when it does get a virus.
Some people are hesitant to purchase a Mac because they don't know how to use it as well as they know how to use a PC. I'll admit at first that's why I didn't want a Mac. I remember saying to myself, Oh Mac's are so confusing and everything is backwards. It's turns out that it only takes a short amount of time to get used to using a Mac and as a matter of fact it actually is much more easier to use then a PC. Mac's are much more user friendly and more simple to understand. If you ask anyone who used to use PC's and now has a Mac if they would ever go back and they would tell you that they would have to be crazy to do that.
I'll admit it, Mac is a good computer. But I still would trust the PC over a Mac only beacuse the PC software is more developed. The PC's had been out for years and has dominated mac ever since they started making the newer models. The only reason why Mac hasn't experienced any problems with viruses is because Mac has a smaller group of customers. Viruses only come around when there are larger groups of consumers. Best believe, that there are computer nerds out there trying to break that invisible wall that Mac has created. In the end Mac is gonna be where PC's are now.
